“Acres of Diamonds, Fields of Gold”

“Acres of Diamonds, Fields of Gold”
-an excerpt from Don Failla’s book “The System- How to Build a Large, Successful Network Marketing Organization”

Many years ago, a man who lived in Africa sold his farm because he wanted to go looking for diamonds. He traveled all over the African continent searching for the precious stones.  Sadly, he had little luck in his search. Finally, after years of struggle, disappointment, and desperation, he ended his miserable life by drowning himself in the ocean.

Ironically, the person to whom this man sold his farm eventually discovered the Kimberly mine on that very farm. That’s right – the largest diamond mine in Africa was located on the very plot of land sold by the original farmer, who foolishly left it in order to go looking for diamonds elsewhere!

Apple, the "Superfruit"

Did you know that apples are found to play a role in inhibiting aging-related problems, preventing wrinkles and promoting hair growth (due to compound named procyanidin B-2)?

The apple is the pomaceous fruit of the apple tree, species Malus domestica in the rose family (Rosaceae). The apple grows on small, deciduous trees that blossom in the spring and produce fruit in the fall. Not only are they delicious, they contain certain substances that would help to maintain healthy bodies and are a rich source of dietary fiber and phytochemicals (compounds found in plants, fruits, and vegetables that can act as anti-oxidants). Apples and apple juices are the best source for mineral boron which helps to promote bone growth. In addition, the high fiber content helps in slow release of sugars into the body, thereby helps to maintain a steady blood sugar level.

Lessons from Darren Hardy: How Goal Setting Actually Works - The Mystery ‘Secret’ Revealed

Excerpt from “The Compound Effect”

You only see, experience, and get what you look for.  If you don’t know what to look for, you certainly won’t get it.  By our very nature, we are goal-seeking creatures.  Our brain is always trying to align our outer world with what we’re seeing and expecting in our inner world.  So, when you instruct your brain to look for the things you want, you will begin to see them. In fact, the object of your desire has probably always existed around you, but your mind and eyes weren’t open to “seeing” it.

Blueberries, the Superfruit!

Did you know the vitamins in blueberries may neutralize or normalize oil levels in your skin?

Blueberries are rich in fiber as well as vitamins A and C, while low in saturated fat, cholesterol and sodium. They are also a good source of antioxidants, and can be eaten raw, cooked with other foods, or dried for use in tea. No matter what form blueberries take in your diet, their many vitamins and nutrients can be good for your skin.

“If you don’t believe in yourself at the highest level, then no one else will believe in you.”

Former professional athlete, Rod Mezadieu, learned from a young age that consistency is the key to success.  Growing up in Miami, Florida, and being a blue chip All-American, Rod loved to play football. From a very young age he developed skills to be an outstanding player, who set high goals, and achieved them.  Rod says “I was taught to always be relentless, as it will pay off. And you cannot lose, if you just don’t quit.”

Southeast Florida Trip a Huge Success

I'm back in Anaheim this week but am still fired up from an amazing week in Florida. I'd like to thank everyone who attended one or more of the many meetings we had in southeast Florida, culminating in our incredible Saturday training at the PGA Resort & Spa. Everyone who was there would agree, it was very powerful and inspiring. Thank you to everyone who helped behind the scenes setting everything up and for all of you who are committed to your Jusuru business enough to show up. As Darren Hardy tells us in "The Compound Effect", "consistency is the key to achieving and maintaining momentum."

Lessons from Darren Hardy: Elephants Don't Bite

Excerpt from “The Compound Effect”

Have you ever been bitten by an Elephant? How about a mosquito? It’s the little things in life that will bite you. Occasionally, we see big mistakes threaten to destroy a career or reputation in an instant – the famous comedian who rants racial slurs during a stand-up routine, the drunken anti-Semitic antics of a once-celebrated humanitarian, the anti-gay-rights senator caught soliciting gay sex in a restroom, the admired female tennis player who uncharacteristically threatens an official with a tirade of expletives. Clearly, these types of mistakes have major repercussions. But even if you’ve pulled such a whopper in your past, it’s not the extraordinary massive steps backward or the tragic single moments that we’re concerned with here.

7 Steps to Becoming a Good Leader by Don Failla

1.  Become actively involved
You sponsor a friend in your company, and you help that friend sponsor their friend, and it just keeps going. You teach and nurture your team to be a success; you share a proven system that will make them successful.  This way they can duplicate their efforts and grow very fast and strong. You are the role model, and your team will follow. In a networking family, you teach and nurture each person along the road to success. Of course, you have to take one step at a time, and sometimes it’s baby steps. Sometimes you might even fall down. But you get back up and you learn from your mistakes, and you keep going. You are a leader; never give up! Soon your team will start multiplying and your organization will be growing faster and faster, and stronger and stronger. You will really start to have fun helping others and making money yourself.

Jusuru: The 2011 Beauty From Within Exemplary US Brand

I’m pleased to report back that I had a very impactful trip to the Beauty From Within 2011 conference in Paris, France.   This industry conference, held by one of the leading nutritional and cosmetic trade organizations, took a strategic look at the challenges behind the education and marketing of nutricosmetics to consumers as well as covering scientific validation, new product forms and categories and exploring how to overcome the current regulation confusion surrounding such products.  Particularly, Jusuru was asked to represent a successful company that is significantly impacting the US market’s awareness and acceptance of the emerging category.  It was an honor to be recognized and well-received by the audience, which included delegates from across the globe including companies from Unilever, PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble, and Coca-Cola, and prominent industry members.
