What is the cause of aging?

I submit that there are at least three major causes.

1.     The loss of hyaluronic acid and collagen.

2.     Free radicals damaging the cells of our bodies

3.     A myriad number of diseases processes. Probably related to the first two.

What is hyaluronic acid? It is one part of the BioCell Collagen® ingredient that also contains chondroitin sulfate and collagen. These three substances (hyaluronic acid, chondroitin sulfate and collagen) are the building blocks of our body.

There is a rare and unfortunately genetic condition that causes children to show the rapid signs of aging from the day they are born. It is diagnosed by the finding of abnormally excessive amounts of HA in the urine.

We, the more fortunate, are born with an abundance of HA that we begin to lose the day we are born. On the other hand we do not begin to lose collagen until mid life.

What is the importance of the loss of HA, chondroitin and collagen?

All orthopedic surgeons are aware of the remarkable speed that young children and babies heal their injuries and how slow we as adults heal. This is due to HA's abundance in children and the diminished amount in adults. The evidence of this becomes apparent as we wrinkle due to the loss of HA.

HA is found in every system of the body but in greatest abundance in the skin, vitreous humor of the eyes and our joints.

It is therefore apparent that restoring HA, chondroitin and collagen to our body should, at the very least, slow the visible signs of aging.

This brings me to the discussion of Jusuru, a product that addresses the first two causes of aging (loss of HA and collagen and anti-oxidants to attack free radicals)) that I have listed.

I will discuss them in reverse order.  

Anti-oxidants play an important part in protecting our bodies from the harmful free radicals found in the air we breathe and many of the foods that we eat.In addition to apple, blueberry, red grapes and strawberry, Jusuru also contains noni, mangosteen and acai berry, to name a few. Radicals, if allowed to run free in the body, are believed to be involved in a number of health concerns.

Resveratrol, the second ingredient is a potent anti-inflammatory agent that is responsible to the French paradox. In France where red wine is consumed like we should drink water, the French have the lowest incidence of heart disease, stroke and obesity in Europe despite their very rich diet. The mechanisms of resveratrol's apparent effects on life extension are not fully understood, but they appear to mimic several of the biochemical effects of calorie restriction. Some studies indicates resveratrol activates Sirtuin 1 (SIRT1). There are presently multiple studies in progress or completed that show that resveratrol has many beneficial attributes outside the limits of this discussion.

This brings me to the third and most important,:

BioCellCollagen®. The source of this collagen molecule was found to most closely resemble the collagen molecule in our own body. It contains three elements:

1.     Hyaluronic Acid

2.     Chondroitin sulfate

3.     Collagen

Three years ago a proprietary process was developed to use BioCell Collagen® in a liquid application. This important statement is what makes Jusuru unlike any other collagen delivery system on the market. I want to give you two examples of how Jusuru competes with two unrelated products on the market.

One is Synvisc (Hylan GF 20 - hyaluronates) that orthopedic surgeons have been injecting into knee joints for over ten years. Very expensive, painful and of limited benefit in about one half of patients receiving it.

Jusuru, on the other hand, makes available through the blood stream to the synovium-rich quantities of hyaluronic acid, chondroitin sulfate and collagen. It is important to understand that as there is no blood supply to cartilage after puberty when all of its nourishment then comes from the synovial fluid. This, therefore, explains how cartilage may begin to rebuild over time.

Cartilage is, as a result beginning to heal and be restored. I my years in a related field, I have never seen anything work like this. The importance of this statement cannot be underestimated.

Another example is Juvederm (Cross linked hyaluronic acid). This a large molecule used by plastic surgeons and dermatologists to fill in wrinkles. It is not permanent and is very expensive to say nothing about the discomfort of the treatment.

Jusuru, on the other hand, does exactly the same thing from the inside by supplying the skin with a rapid source of hyaluronic acid from within and in a matter of a few weeks. The effectiveness is maintained as long as Jusuru is consumed. Less expensive, not painful and no trips to the doctor's office.

There are three things to remember as to why this product is so unique:

1.It is a low molecular weight delivery system of collagen.

2.It contains 3 scientifically proven products that synergistically improve the effectiveness of each one individually.

Furthermore, I also believe that because of the beneficial, unintended, consequences that are almost daily being discovered, we have only scratched the surface of the potential benefits of this unique product.
