Jusuru: The 2011 Beauty From Within Exemplary US Brand



I’m pleased to report back that I had a very impactful trip to the Beauty From Within 2011 conference in Paris, France.   This industry conference, held by one of the leading nutritional and cosmetic trade organizations, took a strategic look at the challenges behind the education and marketing of nutricosmetics to consumers as well as covering scientific validation, new product forms and categories and exploring how to overcome the current regulation confusion surrounding such products.  Particularly, Jusuru was asked to represent a successful company that is significantly impacting the US market’s awareness and acceptance of the emerging category.  It was an honor to be recognized and well-received by the audience, which included delegates from across the globe including companies from Unilever, PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble, and Coca-Cola, and prominent industry members.

My presentation at the conference covered US consumer trends and how they relate to the global nutricosmetics industry’s challenges and opportunities.  The key messages that relate to Jusuru’s success and future position, are consistent with research in this market: realizing the projected $5 billion growth potential over the next few years requires two things: education and a focus on health.  As you know, Jusuru is not purely an inside-beauty product.  Jusuru is a multi-faceted health product that creates significant improvement for joints and skin, and many areas of one’s overall health.  It is specifically because Jusuru offers multiple benefits that leads to awareness and acceptance of the specific inside-beauty benefits.  It is also a notable breakthrough that our business model provides an inherent person-to-person transfer of knowledge and inspiration, and that is what facilitates the education part so well.

We would like to thank Asma for supporting the conference. Asma’s presentation was very informative and the other delegates were very interested to see how the US nutricosmetics industry is growing in comparison to Europe.

Asma received very good feedback on the evaluation forms on her speaker session, there was one that said that yours was the stand out session of the day for them!
